If you are still in doubt, just get it. Trust me is so much better than a bigger iPad. I had a bigger iPad and sold it to buy this one and do not regret it at all. It is the perfect size and it's so cute.
This little thing is great. I use it for reading music while playing gigs, note taking for work, and watching content. Battery life is good, not incredible but gets me through the day. The screen could be improved, hopefully Gen 2 gets 120Hz refresh rate. Pair it with an Apple Pencil and you're golden. Only downside is the screen truthfully.
